She was predeceased by: her parents, James Harold Gardner and Ida Ashworth Gardner; and her son Trent Coats. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Elijah Coats; her son Jerry Eugene Coats (Tammy); her grandchildren, Jerry Coats II, Cody Coats (Sarabeth), Cody Bollinger, Hunter Coats and Katelyn Coats; her great grandchildren, Austin and Bobby; and her brother Ricky Gardner (Sonya). She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
