He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Kelly McLean; his children, Patricia Smith (William) of Folkston, GA, Anthoney Bell (Valencia) of Bunnlevel, NC, Letitia Watkins (Darrell) of West Point, VA, Gary Elliott of Linden, NC, Walter Jr. McLean (Bobbie) of Lillington, NC and Covadas Clegg (Randolph) of Fuquay Varina, NC; his siblings, Nina McLean of Spring Lake, NC and Ernest McLean (Flora) of Bunnlevel, NC; and his godsons, Darell Judd and Trellis Kelly. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
