She was predeceased by: her sisters, Carolyn Elaine Taylor, Mary Frances Smith, Louise Smith, Mary Smith Hilton and Lillie Mae Smith Elliott; and her nieces and nephews, Becky Smith, Pamela Smith, James C. Elliott, Debbie Ann Elliott McKoy and Larry Elliott Jr..
She is survived by: her son Elder Sheral Raines (Brittany); her grandchildren, Nadia Shanelle Raines, Layla Sherelle Raines and Nathan Elijah Raines; and her siblings, Janet Faye Taylor Gunn, Calvin Lee Taylor, Gwendolyn Smith McDougald and Howard Earl Smith.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at 7330 NC-27, Lillington, NC 27546. A burial will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at the St. Timothy Outreach Ministries (1810 Byrds Pond Rd, Erwin, NC 28339).
