She was predeceased by: her parents, Seth McCoy Owens and Edrie Keel Richards Owens; her husband Gene Stewart; her son Allen Stewart; and her siblings, Mac Owens, Mary Frances Vick and Maud Mooring.
She is survived by: her daughter Lori Stewart; her grandsons, Jesse Stewart of Coats and Alex Belanovich of Lillington; her son Jack Jones of Bunnlevel; and her aunt Jewel Gay of Richmond, VA.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
