Melba Jones Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2021, at the age of 90, Melba Jones of Bunnlevel, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband David; her parents, Paul Smith and Claire Smith; her children, Donald Jones (Debbie) of Raleigh and Shirley Jernigan (Kenneth) of Lillington; her grandchildren, Ken Jernigan (Helene) of Cary, David Jernigan (Evelyn) of Fuquay-Varina and Ana Jernigan of Cary; and her great grandchildren, Cameron, Connor, Caleb, Ava and Reagan Jernigan.
In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
