She was predeceased by: her husband Hubert Barefoot; her daughters, Jo Ann Tyndall and Lois Marsh; and her siblings, James Lawrence Godwin, Pauline Jones and Bertha Godwin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Simonson (Wes) of Fayetteville and Doris Wilson (Doug) of Bunnlevel. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
