He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Sarvis Hedgecoe and L. B. Hedgecoe, Jr.; and his brother-in-law Don Inman. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, David Hedgecoe (Claire) and Anne Smith (Todd); his grandsons, Garrett Smith of Fayetteville, Barnes Smith of Fayetteville, Drew Hedgecoe of Fayetteville, Hunter Hedgecoe of Fayetteville and Ryan Hedgecoe of Fayetteville; his brother Lee Hedgecoe (Beth) of Eastover; his nephew Berton Hedgecoe (Brittany); his daughter Madeline of Fayetteville; his niece Elizabeth Neyle (Edmond); his children, Virginia and Witsell of Florence, SC; his brother-in-law Ben Inman (Cynthia) of Tabor City, NC; his nieces and nephews, Daryl Inman, Ashley Inman, Anna McCullohs and Coleman Inman; his cousins, Graeber Jordan, Issaquah and Elizabeth Sarvis Smith (Bill) of Supply, NC; and his pets, Zeus and CoCo.
