He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald F. Hobbs and Annie Rose Hobbs of Bunnlevel, NC; his brother-in-law Sherwood F. Thomas of Broadway, NC; and his grandson Lucas P. Willey of Fuquay-Varina, NC.. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Thomas Hobbs; his daughters, Susan James (Michael) of Morrisville, NC, Karen Hobbs of Lillington, NC and Allison Willey (Shawn) of Angier, NC; his grandchildren, Caleb, Carson James, Bradley, Jack Willey and Adalyn Willey; his brothers, Rodney F. Hobbs (Roxanne) of Pawleys Island, SC, Alan C. Hobbs (Cheryl) of Bassett, VA and Marion B. Hobbs (Ann) of Bunnlevel, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Gail Smith (Ken) of Piedmont, SC, Gerald Thomas (Julie) of Sanford, NC and Mary Jo Hargrove (Wayne) of Broadway, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
