He is survived by: his wife Betty Temple; his son Bryan Pittman (Anna) of Archdale; his sister Beverly Gregory (Glenn) of Bunnlevel; and his nieces and nephews, Kim Haase, Nikki Cauley, Jerry Robert Temple, Chris Deckard and Brandon Gregory.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
