She was predeceased by: her parents, Zollie Thomas and Allie Gray Medlin; her children, Thomas Wood and Lee Ann Wood; her husband Perry Lee Wood; her grandson Walton Sullivan; and her siblings, Jennie Bell, Jarvis Medlin, Coy Lee Medlin and Troy Thomas Medlin.
She is survived by: her children, Henry Wood (Mary) of Bunn, Nancy Wood Sullivan (Lavan) of Bunn and Faye Wood Cascell (James) of Bunn; and her sisters, Virginia Spencer of Zebulon, Shirley Pace of Henderson and Dorothy Abbott Thomas of Henderson. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren.
