He was predeceased by: his parents, James McGee and Marie Kemp Ruffin; and his wife Martha Bell Bottoms Ruffin. He is survived by: his sons, James Kemp Ruffin, Jr. (Heather) of Middlesex and Darren Ruffin of Youngsville; and his brother Neil Ruffin (Jackie) of Middlesex.
