It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Travis Mason Loftis of Bullock, North Carolina, who passed away on September 25, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Wilkerson Loftis; his parents, Shirley Mason Loftis and Hattie Callahan Loftis; and his siblings, Shirley Ann Loftis and Winfred Alan "Jake" Loftis.

He is survived by: his son Scott Alan Loftis (Tondra Lynch Loftis); his grandchildren, Taylor Loftis Womack (Ty) and Scott Alan Loftis II; his great grandchild Cayden Womack; and his brother-in-law Bobby Wilkerson (Donna).

In lieu of flowers, Travis's family asks that donations be made in his name to the Cemetery Fund for Grassy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
