She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wilbur Grissom and Frances Privett Grissom; her husband Billy Ray Ashworth; her children, Amy Marie Allen (Wesley "Buddy", Sr), Jeana Kassinger (Keith), Dustin "Dusty" Ashworth and Donald Wayne; her grandsons, Justin Allen and Christopher Davis; her mother-in-law Grace Ashworth; her son William Ray Ashworth; and her granddaughter Sarah Marie Ashworth.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tungsten Baptist Church (3944 Tungsten Mine Rd, Bullock, NC 27536). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
