He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cooper and Martha Cooper; and his sister Helen Keeton of Stovall, NC.. He is survived by: his sons, Gary Cooper (Ashley) of Farmville, VA and Allen Cooper (Sangi) of Chase City, VA; his grandchildren, Mallory, Jarrod, Rhodes, Moriah and Jemma; and his great grandchildren, Allison and Sadie.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home (703 Virginia Ave, Clarksville, VA 23927).
