He is survived by: his daughters, Angie Taylor (Anita) of Benson, Wendy Griffin (Frankie) of Angier, Kimberly Hemphill (Bron) of Conover and Dana Simmons (Chad) of Madison; his stepdaughters, Regina Urtz (Mark) of Raleigh and Kimberly Brewer (Brandon) of Smithfield; his grandchildren, Michael Griffin (Stephanie), Sarah Hemphill, Justin Hemphill, Taylor Simmons, Emily Urtz, Sophie Urtz, Jason Urtz, Carley Brewer and Nicholas Brewer; and his great grandchildren, Elliana Griffin and Juliana Griffin.
