He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Frances Perry Lewis; his daughter Gina; his son-in-law Harold Smith; his son Gene; his daughter-in-law Patricia Lewis; his grandsons, Ian and Caleb Smith; his brothers, Lyle and Deamous Lewis; his sister-in-law Peggy Wilson; and his parents, James E. Lewis Sr. and Gettie Robbins Lewis.
