It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hewitt A. Brown Jr. of Buies Creek, North Carolina, who passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hewitt A. Brown, Sr. and Martha Edna Gregory Brown; his sister Sue Ann Brown; and his brothers-in-law, Jimmy Parker, Preston Barbour and Kenneth Hawley.
He is survived by: his uncle Scrooge; his wife Brenda Parker Brown; his daughter Amity Brown; his son-in-law Simon Kelly of Cary; his granddaughter Ailsa Jo Kelly of Cary; and his siblings-in-law, Bobbie Barbour, Bonnie Johnson (Billy), Janet Parker, Vickie Hawley and Billy E. Parker. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
