It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Anne McQuade of Buies Creek, North Carolina, who passed away on September 21, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Stanley McQuade; her parents, Annie McIlroy and William Cross McIlroy; and her brothers, Robert, Hayes, William and Kenneth McIlroy.
She is survived by: her children, William Brian McQuade (John Baldwin) of Bryson City and Shonagh McQuade Weems (Edward Weems) of Buies Creek; her grandchildren, Jonathan McQuade, Maria McQuade, Thomas McQuade, Brandon Hillegass (Taylor Hillegass), Meredith Hillegass (Zachary Harper), Erika Hillegass, Austin McQuade, Megan Johnson (Jeremy Johnson), Gabe Hillegass, Quinn Hillegass, Adelaide, Ellery, Finley and Jack; and her brother John McIlroy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
