Elizabeth Byrd Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Byrd of Buies Creek, North Carolina, who passed away on June 13, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Oscar and Alda Stephenson Tysinger; her husband Waymon Weaver Byrd; her daughter Connie Lynn Byrd; and her siblings, Gene Tysinger and Joan Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gale Byrd Compton (King) of Lumberton, Julie Byrd of Angier and Wendy Byrd Buchanan (Chuck) of Meadows; her granddaughters, Cayce Compton Taft (Marshall), Emily Wilbourne Satzger (Rob), Colleen and Molly Buchanan; her great grandchildren, Madelyn, Lela Taft, Graham and Philip Satzger; and her sister Martha Bedsole (Larry).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Memorial Baptist Church at PO Box 485, Buies Creek, NC 27506, in support of their community missions.
