She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Lee Turner and Sarah Williams Turner; her husband Douglas Brown Johnson (Germany); and her siblings, Iola Turner Talley, Rachel Turner Cheatham Hill, Evelyn Turner Ferguson, Madeline Turner Holloman, Dorothy Turner, Sarah Jenice Turner, Ruby Turner Harris, Gilda Turner Blackmon and Alonzo Laverne Turner.
She is survived by: her son Jody Douglas Johnson (Lisa Carolyn); her grandchild Shannon Douglas Johnson (US Navy); and her caregivers, Cierra, Ivy, Latosha, Desiree, Lisa, Loretta, Teresa, Charlotte, Marie, Quanza, Jaleigha, Jasmine, Tiffany and Ja'Kia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, church family members and friends.
