She was predeceased by: her husband Leahman Coday Sr.; and her sisters, Opal Brown and Beatrice Waldroup. She is survived by: her children, Mary Coday of Bryson City, Leahman Coday Jr. (Lisa) of Bryson City and Phillip Coday Sr. of Bryson City; and her nieces, Jamie Winchester (J. T.), Vida Cody (Scott) and Louise Thomas. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
