He was predeceased by: his parent Luke Winchester; and his siblings, Lawrence Winchester, Tom Winchester, Eva Wiggly and Dayle McHan.
He is survived by: his parent Talitha Winchester; his wife Violet Winchester; and his children, Kathy Kinsey (Ronnie) of Cashiers, Sandy Morgan (Bob) of Tuckasegee, Arlene Burns (Henry) of Bryson City, Ervin Winchester (Cindy) of Bryson City, Michael Winchester (Dee) of Colorodo and Angie Winchester of Bryson City. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
