He was predeceased by: his parents, Vance Wilbar Greene Sr. and Ellean Martin Greene. He is survived by: his brother Vance W. Greene Jr. (Kathy); his niece Julie Robin Laws (Michael); his nephew Vance Greene III; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mikel Laws, Emily Smith, Olivia Greene and Karin Greene.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cold Springs Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 946, Bryson City, NC 28713.
