He was predeceased by: his parent Roy Milton Woodard; his sister Martha W. Jones; his nephews, D. J. Shuler and Eric David Fortner; his niece Krystal Brooke Woodard; and his great-niece Whitney Leigh Parton.
He is survived by: his parent Thelma Aline Woodard of Bryson City; his wife Elaine Anthony Woodard; his daughters, LeAnne Murray of Bryson City and JoAnne Norton (Mitchell); his grandchildren, Faith, Kaylea, James Murray, Elliana, Kyndall and Sawyer Norton; his siblings, Becky Parton (Owen), Tommy Woodard (Rhonda), Rachel Smith (David), Mary Franklin, Billy Woodard (Hilda), Liz Williams (Gene), Lovie Fortner (Rick) and Misty Jones (Daniel); and his siblings-in-law, Ethel Parton (Burrell), Karen Shuler, R. P. Anthony and Dennis Jones. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
