He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bard and Charlotte Bard; and his siblings, John Winfred Bard, Thomas Robert Bard and Christabel Hall.
He is survived by: his siblings, Rose Jordan of Forest City and Grady Bard of Groton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
