With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peggy Adams Maddox of Bryson City, North Carolina, born in Jackson, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 9, 2024 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Luther Adams (Dude) and Bennie Elliott Adams; and her brother Jerry Luther Adams. She is survived by: her husband Keith Maddox; her children, Nathan Maddox (Nancy) of Franklin, NC and Tonia Maddox Edwards of Whittier, NC; her grandchildren, Savanna, Sarah Maddox of Franklin, NC and Samual Edwards of Whittier, NC; her sister-in-law Kay LeQuire Adams of Creedmoor, NC; her niece Connie Adams Boone (Rodney Boone); her great-nieces, Erin Casey Boone Wyatt (Lee Wyatt) and Renee Dawn Boone (Dustin Walters); her niece Dawn Adams Adcock (Curry Adcock); her great-nephew Stuart Lee Adcock; her siblings-in-law, Rodney and Lacey Maddox (Wake Forest); her nieces, Maria, Marina and Cristina; her great-nieces, Alympia and Lara of Raleigh; and also, Bennett Boone Wyatt, Kerri Adcock Black (Matt Black), Vera Grace Black, Kurt Black and Jerry Han Adcock of Creedmoor, NC.
