She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert F. Carmichael Sr. and Annie Ruth Strickland. She is survived by: her husband Gary A. Greene; her children, Sheryl Greene of Greensboro and Robert Greene (Melissa) of Whittier; her stepchildren, Sarah Cochran and Gary A. Greene Jr. of Bryson City; and her grandchildren, Alex, Amy, Roberta, Wendy, Aubrey and Zane. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Smoky Mountain Community Theater.
