She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Dorsey Sr. and Julia Cottini; and her brothers, Walter Dorsey Jr. and Thomas Dorsey. She is survived by: her granddaughter Joy Allen (Patti); her sisters, Nancy Woodward, Frances Arecco and Julianne Gaynor; her sons, Patrick Allen of Cullowhee and Matthew Allen (Kate) of Fines Creek; and her granddaughter Joy Rosemary Allen.
