He was predeceased by: his parent Clarence Dills; and his brothers, Robert Dills and Cecil Dills. He is survived by: his parent Eva Franks Dills; his wife Claire Dills; his sons, Mathew Young-Dills (Tony) of Sylva and Jonathan Lee Dills of Sylva; his stepson Russell Peek of Franklin; his granddaughter Kerry Peek; and his siblings, Betty Lackey (Monroe) of Bryson City, Catherine Freeman and Henry Dills (Debi) of Commerce, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins.
