He is survived by: his wife Myrtle; his children, Paula Birchfield Parton (Wayne) and Leon Ezekiel Birchfield (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Dwayne Manuel Parton, Blayne Alexander Parton (Amanda), Landon Jacob Parton (Kelly), Brandy Harvey (Joe) and Lauren Birchfield; and his sister Rena Fortner. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
