He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Evi Becker; and his grandparents, Lawson, Hyacienth Shuler, Amos and Georgia Stillwell.
He is survived by: his parents, Vaughn Shuler and Sheila Shuler of Bryson City; his wife Selissa Taylor Shuler; his daughter Brylee Shuler; his former wife Rebecca Shuler; his children, Teala Becker (Chris), Dalton Shuler (Kaelyn) and Austin Shuler (Lauren); his grandchildren, Tytus, Freya Becker, Bailey and Clayton Shuler; his brothers, James Shuler (LeeAnn) and Steve Shuler (Angie); and his nephews, Cody Shuler (Marianne), Casey Shuler (Amber), Daniel Shuler (Korina), Mark Shuler (Jenea) and Finley Shuler.
