In loving memory of Mary Leah Sherrill of Bryson City, North Carolina, who departed this world on November 4, 2024 at the age of 92. Mary Leah leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Edmonds and Rachel Eller Edmonds; her husband Robert Edward Sherrill; and her siblings, Jay Edmonds, Gunter and Willene Crawford.
She is survived by: her children, Bob Sherrill, Bill Sherrill (Lisa), Tom Sherrill (Teresa), Teresa Jefferson (Craig) and Joe Sherrill (Tracy); and her sister Betty Mitchell. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home (669 US-19, Bryson City, NC 28713). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
