He is survived by: his wife Mary Nell Monteith; his children, Lori Kirkland (Josh) and Jimmy Monteith (Sonia); his grandchildren, Gracie, Audrey Monteith, Ayden and Gabe Kirkland; and his sister Juanita Thomas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
