She was predeceased by: her parents, William R. Howard and Susan Slagle Howard; her husband Frank Winchester; and her children, Lawrence Winchester and Debra Mueller.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Winchester, Leonard Winchester (Susan), Carolyn Winchester and Lisa Sutton (Tony); her son-in-law Greg Mueller; and her grandchildren, Renea, Michael, Brian, Shane, Shanice, Stephanie, Daniel, Meagan, Justin, Matthew and Valerie. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sawmill Hill FWB Church (99 White Oak Acres, Bryson City, NC 28713).
