He was predeceased by: his son David Scott Revis. He is survived by: his wife Judith Gibson Revis of Whittier; his children, Rita Revis of Whittier and Joe Douglas Revis Jr. (Amy) of Rutherfordton; and his grandchildren, David, Lauren, Raine and Evan Revis.
