He was predeceased by: his father David Neugin; and his son Jay Neugin III. He is survived by: his mother Maxine Shade Neugin; and his children, Jodi Adair of Peggs and James Neugin (Wendy Neugin) of Bryson City. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers and a sister; countless nieces and nephews; and dear friends.
