He was predeceased by: his parents, James Newell and Ruby Lee DeHart. He is survived by: his wife Erin Vaudrin DeHart; his children, Celina Guffey (Doug Chastain), James Joseph DeHart (Merissa), Kevin Christopher DeHart (Michelle) and Jared Monroe DeHart; his brother-in-law Brian Vaudrin; and his sisters, Vivian Ann Dills and Linda Carol Orr. He is also survived by his best friend; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
