He was predeceased by: his parents, Sewell Brown and Violet Brown; his siblings, Harold Brown, Marvin Brown, Cecil Brown, Troy Brown and Aileen Hart; and his grandson Blake Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Fox Brown; his children, Michael Brown (Lania), Renee Griffey (Gene), Scotty Brown (Heather), Stephanie Smith (James), Amanda Surrett (Joseph) and Shonda Banks (Shane); and his siblings, Earl Brown, Wayne Brown, Ray Brown and Betty Redmond. He is also survived by grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
