She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Hurley and Nettie Burns Hurley; her husband Robert Jenkins; and her children, Mitchell Jenkins, Heidi Estes and Kenny Jenkins.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Anthony and Jody Jenkins; and her grandchildren, Amber Ledbetter, Brian Anthony (Beverley), Amanda Sutton (Brandon), Chris Jenkins (Jessica), Maggie Jones (Spencer), Mitch Jenkins, Nikki Jenkins and Shelley Lossiah (Billy). She is also survived by several great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home (669 US-19, Bryson City, NC 28713). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
