She was predeceased by: her son Tim Houser; her grandchildren, Christin McGaha Phillips and Donald Anthony McGaha (DJ); her son-in-law Donald Lee McGaha, Jr; and her brothers, Alfred and Roy Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Houser of Opelousas, LA and Beth McGaha of Bryson City; her stepdaughters, Audrey Peticos of Ellenboro, Scarlet Casey of Lincolnton and Tammy Houser; her grandchildren, Timothy, Travis, David, Dylan H., Dylan R., Tristan, Samantha, Caitlyn, Shawn Michael and Samuel; her great grandchildren, Alexis, Summer, Micah, Jonah, Owen, Evelyn, Trinity and Tiara; her sisters, Betty Barnes of Bryson City, Jean Cochran of Bryson City and Judy Baines of Bryson City; her stepsiblings, Horace Combs of Savanah, GA and Susan Combs of Winston Salem; and her pet Buddy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
