He is survived by: his spouse Carolyn Ann Flowers Shook; his children, Gerald Manley Shook Jr. (Cheryl) of Bryson City, Paula LeGrow (Gordon) of Waynesville, NC and Thomas Shook (Dorinda) of Bryson City; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Kaelob, Gabbi, Kierra and Bekah; and his great grandchildren, Mijo and Zadita.
