He was predeceased by: his parents, Sheridan Evans and Dollie Pendergrass Evans; his son Curtis Evans; and his sister Pauline Passmore. He is survived by: his wife Dellene Mashburn Evans; his children, Randall Evans of Sylva and DeeRita Ball (Troy) of Canton; his daughter-in-law Kathy Evans Grant (Brett) of Bryson City; his grandsons, Joel (Suzanne), Brandon and Justin (Cassie); his great grandchildren, Corey, Autumn, Levi, Lucy, Thaddeus and Atticus; and his brother Raymond Evans (Roberta) of Nantahala. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
