She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Luther Carver and Mildred Carver; her husband Pete Thompson; her daughter Kay; her son-in-law Jerry Brown; her sons, David (Ashley) and Darrell (Jill Thompson); and her grandchildren, Melinda, Clayton, Andrew, Megan, Henry, Jake and Adam.

The family asked that in lieu of flowers please send a donation to Mt. Vernon Freewill Baptist Church, Women's group.
