He was predeceased by: his son David Jones; his parents, Robert Jones and Lettie McCall Jones; his brother Melvin Jones; his children-in-law, Martha Woodard Jones and Robert Mathews; and his sister-in-law Linda Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Kay Laney (Daryl), Gale Martin (Bill), Kathy Jones, Fred Jones (Bernita), Cindy Mathews, Dennis Jones (Connie), Daniel Jones (Misty) and Amy Jones; his great grandchildren, Melissa Laney, Makayla Carlisle, Branson Carlisle, Preston Rhinehart, Chad Laney (Susan), Emily Laney, Zachary Jones (Abby), Ruby Jones, Ezra Jones, Jeremiah Jones (Tonya), Jessica Holder (Derek), Levi Holder, Titus Holder, Jacob Jones (Amber), Arabella Jones, Charlotte Jones and Dakota Jones (Anna); and his siblings, Johnny Jones and Ruth Greene (Oscar). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
