With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Carlene Herrin (Bryson City, North Carolina), born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on August 19, 2018 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irma Herrin and Everett Herrin. She is survived by: her siblings, Frances King (Ronnie) of Mars Hill, NC, John Herrin (Pat) of Bryson City, NC, Joseph Herrin of Chapel Hill, NC and Chris Herrin (Karla DeLeon) of Phoenix; and her nieces and nephews, Lorena Franklin, Sarah McBride, Justin Fisher, Isaac, Robert, John Jr., Ashley, Noah, Croix and Charlye Herrin.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations of backpacks and/or school supplies that will be used to help students in Swain County Schools.
