He is survived by: his parent Agnes Spivey; his wife Joyce Spivey; his children, Joy Platt of Whittier and Dale Spivey of Bryson City; his grandchildren, Amber Platt, Darrell Platt and Elyssia Aguilar; his great grandchildren, Emma, Briana, Jayden, Tyler, Jace and Jayana; and his siblings, Dolan Wee, Pee Wee and Darlene. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
