He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Watkins, Christina Parris (Virgil) of Bryson City, Cheyanna Ward (Joe) of Bryson City and Kate Allen (Matthew) of Waynesville, NC; and his siblings, Lloyd Watkins of Bryson City, Benny Watkins of Clover, SC, Ricky Watkins (Trish) of Hildebrand, NC and Judy Poindexter (Gene) of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
