He was predeceased by: his parents, Zachariah Lewis and Safronia Johnson Lewis; the mother of his children Zuah Leaturnea; his sons, Timothy Ray Lewis and Anthony Nathaniel Lewis; and his siblings, Gladden Lewis, Wayne Lewis, Ronnie Lewis, Troy Lewis and Melva Jean Attaway.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Lewis (Martha) of Bryson City, NC and Christopher Lewis (Veronica) of Sylva, NC; his daughter-in-law Nikki Lewis; and his grandchildren, Christopher Dyer, Clarissa Callaway, Jeffery Dyer, Michael Lewis Jr., Trevis Button, Kirsten Carroll, Hannah Lewis and Andrew Lewis. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.
