She is survived by: her son Mitchell R. Cooper; her grandchildren, Chris Cooper, Kristy Cooper and Jennifer Cooper; her great grandchildren, Kazandra Cooper and Jace Cooper; her sister Rachael Griggs (Roy) of Bryson City; and her sister-in-law Sue Deatz of Sylva. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
