She is survived by: her children, Barbara Bowles (Frank) of Murphy, Dorothy Edwards (George) of Bryson City, Gladys Quigley of Franklin and Shirley Payne (Jerry) of Gastonia; her siblings, Pauline Hyde, Pearl Bailey, Carlos McMahan and Walter McMahan; and her significant other Carmen Cline.
